Celtic signed the Egyptian winger from the La Liga side this week
Here’s what Real Oviedo fans are saying about new Celtic signing Hassan important matches
Real Oviedo confirmed the sale of Haissem Hassan to Celtic on social media. The reaction of the fans was certainly mixed in the comments for the man they affectionately call Pharaoh.
Real Oviedo thank Hassan after Celtic move confirmed
A lot of fans were positive and thanked Hassan for his contribution, citing his ability to dribble and take on a man.
Celtic fans will be somewhat encouraged by the positive comments of the Real Oviedo fans who wanted to say farewell to the Egyptian winger. Fans will also enjoy the various references to Hassan’s dribbling ability on one on one situations. Hopefully the winger can adapt to the defensive setups in Scotland and increase his level of output in a hoops shirt.
Not all comments were positive
Some fans were not upset at the club selling the winger to Celtic. There were comments focusing on his lack of goals and assists during his time at his previous club. Many hinting that he won’t be a big loss and that the club did the right thing taking the money after relegation from La Liga last season.
Celtic fans will be hoping that the club have identified someone who can stand up to the challenge and deliver goals and assists at the club. A major part of being a successful Celtic winger.
Hopefully the manager can increase Hassan’s goal and assist output this season. Martin O’Neill will be looking for a similar contribution to what Didier Agathe managed to produce as a major threat on the right wing during his first spell as manager.
What do you think Celtic fans? Does Hassan look like a good signing?
