Editorial Standards

Celtic DNA is an independent Celtic FC news, opinion and supporter website.
Our aim is to provide Celtic supporters with timely news, original opinion, analysis and features while maintaining clear editorial standards.

Accuracy
We aim to ensure that factual information published by Celtic DNA is accurate at the time of publication.
Where information comes from another publication, journalist, football club or other external source, we aim to make the source clear and provide appropriate attribution. Transfer stories, rumours and other developing stories will be identified as such where confirmation is not available.

Sources
Celtic DNA uses a range of sources including official club announcements, governing bodies, interviews, press conferences, established media organisations and journalists.
We aim to distinguish clearly between confirmed information, reports, rumours and our own analysis or opinion.

Opinion
Celtic DNA publishes opinion and commentary from a Celtic supporter perspective.
Opinion articles represent the views of their authors and should be distinguished from factual news reporting.

Headlines
Our headlines aim to accurately represent the substance of the article.
While headlines may highlight the most interesting or significant aspect of a story, we do not intentionally publish headlines that materially misrepresent the content.

Corrections
If we discover that an article contains a significant factual error, we will correct it as quickly as reasonably possible.
Where appropriate, an article may include an update or correction explaining a significant change.
Further information can be found in our Corrections Policy.

Independence
Celtic DNA is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to Celtic Football Club.
Commercial relationships, sponsorships or affiliate arrangements will not determine our editorial opinions.
AI and editorial responsibility. Technology and artificial intelligence tools may be used to assist with research, transcription, editing, organisation or other parts of the publishing process. Responsibility for the material published by Celtic DNA remains with the publication and its authors. Factual claims should be checked against appropriate sources before publication.
